No, and we show it as a 'from' figure on purpose. Removals are billed on time on site, so the invoice depends on access, stairs, lift bookings and how packed you are when we arrive. The estimate is built from the same rate card we actually charge against, so it lands close when the inventory you gave us is accurate.

$140/hr + GST for two movers and the 4.5-tonne enclosed truck ($154 inc GST), or $195/hr + GST for three movers ($215 inc GST). An additional mover is $55/hr + GST. Labour only, where you supply the truck or container, is $110/hr + GST. There is a two-hour minimum call-out and a $280 + GST minimum job.

It starts when we arrive at your first job address and stops when the final item is placed — not from when we leave the depot. Once the two-hour minimum is used up, time is billed in 15-minute increments, so a ten-minute overrun costs ten minutes rather than a rounded-up hour.

Not anywhere in metro Melbourne. Past 30 km from the CBD a flat travel band applies based on the furthest address on the job: $121 for 31–50 km and $182 for 51–75 km. Beyond 75 km we agree a fixed travel rate before booking. Parking, tolls and permits are charged at cost.

Stairs are $55 per flight including GST, charged at each address — a separate continuous run after a landing or turn counts again. A long carry of 30–60 metres from truck to entry is $33 per address. A usable lift carries no surcharge, though lift waiting time is still billable. Balcony lifts, cranes and hoists are quoted separately.

Yes, and only one surcharge ever applies — the highest. Saturday is +15%, Sunday +25%, public holidays +50%, before 7am or after 6pm +15%, and a booking confirmed under 24 hours ahead is +10%. They never stack on top of each other.

We carry public liability and goods-in-transit cover, and can send a certificate of currency if your building manager asks for one. Cover has limits and exclusions, so flag high-value or fragile items when you book and we will talk through the right level of protection.

Yes — rubbish removal and licensed waste disposal are two of our three service lines, and they run on the same truck and crew. Tip fees are charged at cost and shown separately on the invoice. Note that tip fees are not included in a standard removal job, so a clear-out is booked as its own service.

Dangerous goods such as gas bottles, fuel, paint and chemicals, along with hazardous or prohibited waste, fixed building elements and anything illegal. Pianos, pool tables, safes and marble tables are possible, but rigid items over 100 kg carry a $165 handling fee and need photos before booking so we bring the right crew.

Tell us as soon as you know. More than 24 hours out there is no fee. Between 12 and 24 hours it is one hour at the booked rate. Under 12 hours, or if we cannot get access on the day, the minimum job fee applies.

One to two weeks is comfortable. The end of the month, the last Friday of the month and the December–January window fill fastest. Single-item jobs can often be fitted into the same week, though anything confirmed under 24 hours ahead carries the +10% surcharge.

Yes. Staging installs, de-stages and warehouse transfers run on a partner rate of $140/hr + GST with no metro mobilisation fee, and approved accounts move to 7-day terms after the first three jobs. We do not approach your vendors, agents or owners.
