What the estimate doesn't cover

A calculator can only price what you tell it. These are the things that change a number on the day, and we would rather you knew now.

Weekend and after-hours

Saturday +15%, Sunday +25%, public holidays +50%. Only the highest applies — they never stack.

Outer-metro travel

Past 30 km from the CBD a flat band applies: $110 to 50 km, $165 to 75 km, both + GST.

Very heavy items

Anything rigid over 100 kg — marble, safes, small pianos — carries a $150 + GST handling fee and needs photos first.

Long carries

If the truck cannot park within 30 m of the door, a long-carry charge or an extra mover applies.

Packing materials

Boxes, tape and bubble wrap are charged at cost. The packing option here covers labour only.

Rubbish and tip fees

Clear-outs are booked as their own service. Tip fees are passed through at cost.
